The Kyoto Jukan Expressway is an expressway that strengthens the link between the northern and southern parts of Kyoto and promotes regional revitalization. This is an important road that is said to be the backbone of Kyoto.
Shuzan Kaido is one of the mackerel roads, which was once a logistics route for transporting seafood caught in Wakasa Bay (Sea of Japan) to Kyoto. This is a winding road that every rider in Kyoto has ridden at least once.
Kyomi Pass is one of the mountain passes that was built to cut down and transport almost all of the giant cedar trees that existed in ancient times for the construction of Heiankyo, and was originally called Nagasaka Pass, but was renamed.
The roadside station ``Ajiyume no Sato'' sells Kyotanba's representative products, such as Tamba chestnuts and Tamba black (black beans), as well as rice and vegetables.
Ine's Funaya is a unique structure where the first floor is open to the sea (boat storage) and the second floor is a living space. Please enjoy the fantastic scenery as if the house is floating on the sea.
