Kyoto Tour ~Healing~
This is a tour that takes you to Yoshimineji Temple, Hiyoshi Dam, and Ohara Sanzen-in Temple in search of healing.
First, head to Yoshimineji Temple, which is home to Japan's tallest pine tree, Yuryu no Matsu, and enjoy Kyoto cuisine at Sumiya Kamimouan, where you can also enjoy hot springs.
Next is Hiyoshi Dam, also known as the "Gunkan Dam".There is a roadside station nearby, where many riders gather.
Also, when you look at the map, the lake created by the dam, Tenyaku Lake, looks like a dragon.
Finally, stop by Ohara Sanzen-in Temple and soothe your soul with small Jizo statues in the tranquil garden.
From mid-June to July, the hydrangeas are in full bloom, making the scenery even more beautiful.

Yoshimineji Temple is located halfway up Mt. Shakadake (631m) and has a vast site of 30,000 tsubo. During its heyday, the temple was rebuilt by Emperor Gohanazono, and it is said that there were as many as 52 monks' quarters. It is a temple that can be enjoyed in every season, and is perfect for a historical trip.There is a lot of history related to Keishoin, the mother of the 5th Tokugawa Shogun Tsunayoshi Tokugawa.
Springs Hiyoshi is a natural hot spring roadside station located directly below Hiyoshi Dam in Hiyoshi-cho, Nantan City, Kyoto Prefecture. You can enjoy Hiyoshi hot springs, local vegetables, souvenirs, foot baths, etc.
Sanzen-in is a Tendai sect temple located in Ohara, Kyoto. It is said to have its origins in the 8th century, when Saicho built a hermitage under a pear tree when he was building Enryakuji Temple on Mt. Hiei. In the late Heian period, members of the imperial family began to enter the temple, and they continued to serve as the chief priest.
